Tarun Reddy displayed dominant form to win two out of three races at round two of the MRF FF1600 championship held at the Madras Motorsport Race Track in Chennai.

The local driver had won the first race on the road as well on Saturday, but was docked a 90-second penalty after he squeezed Vikash Anand onto the grass at the start. Advait Deodhar, who had finished second, inherited the win as a result.

Reddy meanwhile had to start seventh for the first race of the day but fought his way to the front almost immediately, taking the lead on lap two and never looking back with Advait Deodhar and Siddarth Trivellore completing the podium.

In the third and final race of the weekend, Reddy completed a clinical pole to flag win with his rivals Deodhar and Anand – the latter having battled engine problems since race one – well clear.

In the Indian Junior Touring Car championship, Feroze Khan dominated while Arjun Narendran won both races in the Indian Touring Car race. In the LGB Formula 1300 category, Ajay Kini won two races on the weekend with Goutam Parekh winning the third one.
