If wheels are what you fancy, the Autocar Performance Show is where you should be. Everything from Triumphs to Bentleys, all under one roof. But what’s a performance show without performance?
The APS 2015, along with Maruti, brings to you an all out Autocross Challenge in true gymkhana style. Bring in any street-legal car and drive it through the race course, the fastest you can. Mind you, it’s a race against the clock. Knock a cone off its place and add 5 seconds to your time. Breach the track, and you shall add another 20 seconds.
There are classes for every possible category, be it petrol, diesel, or even depending on engine size. As for categories, there’s Amateur Stock, for all you stock-car racers; Amateur Mod for those who want and get more out of their machines; Professional Stock and Modified categories for the big-league racers. Not to forget, there’s also a Junior category for ages 16 to 18.
Each category and class gets first and second positions along with an overall winner across all classes and categories. Qualify on Saturday, race on Sunday and back to work on Monday. May the fastest man win!
