Ducati and AMG who recently inked a marketing tie-up have scored their first podium as partners. The feat was achieved when the Ducati-branded AMG SLS GT3 of Team Black Falcon took third place in the recent Dubai 24 Hour race.
Team Black Falcon clinched the impressive podium position in their Dubai 24 Hour debut, with all three Mercedes Benz AMG SLS GT3s crossing the line to complete a successful Arab Emirates marathon weekend.
As part of the agreement signed between Ducati and the Stuttgart-based car makers, the rear wings of all three racing cars carried the Ducati logo. Similarly, the AMG brand will be displayed on the 2011 Ducati MotoGP Team bikes and riders’ leathers when the season gets underway in March this year.The partners are currently examining the further activities and strategic steps they might undertake together in the near future.
