Over 50 vehicles participated in this year’s edition

The 2025 JK Tyre Orange 4x4 Fury was held across the Namsai, Lohit, Lower Dibang Valley and East Siang districts of Arunachal Pradesh. The three-day event featured a mix of terrain – from riverbeds and dense forest trails to gravel.
Competition was divided into two broad categories. The Pro-Mod category was reserved for purpose-built and heavily modified off-road machines. The Stock category, meanwhile, featured production-based 4x4s with limited upgrades.
Over 50 vehicles participated across the two categories. Each team fielded two vehicles, allowing crews to support each other during the long endurance stages in case of any breakdowns.
2025 Rainforest Challenge India winners Namshum (co-driver Sujeewan) and Chengappa (co-driver Sachin Saikia) of MOCA Team took victory in the headlining Pro-Mod category. Dhanekula (co-driver Prudhvi Sistla) and Bhaskar Raju (co-driver Mutthu Kumuran) won in the Stock category. And finally, Joi Basar (co-driver Ringam Doni) secured victory in the women’s class.
