2018 Rally of Morocco - Sherco TVS announce rider lineup

    Indian riders Abdul Wahid Tanveer and Harith Noah will be competing in the Rally of Morocco for the first time.

    The Sherco TVS Factory Rally Team has announced its four-rider squad for the upcoming 2018 Rally of Morocco. The Indo-French outfit will be represented by the Indian duo of Abdul Wahid Tanveer and Harith Noah, along with Adrien Metge from France and Spaniard, Lorenzo Santolino. The 2018 edition of the Rally of Morocco will be held between October 3rd and October 9th. The rally is spread across five different stages and the competitors will cover a total distance of 1,937km in six days.

    Commenting on his participation, Abdul Wahid Tanveer, Racer, TVS Racing, said, “This is my first time in the Rally of Morocco and I am excited to be a part of this Rally.  My confidence is high as I successfully completed the recent PanAfrica Rally and topped the Enduro class. I hope to better my overall performance from the previous Rallies and will give it my best shot.”

    Commenting on his international debut, Harith Noah, Racer, TVS Racing, said, “I am grateful to Sherco TVS Racing for placing faith in me and providing me with this huge opportunity to participate in my first International Rally. I have trained rigorously in France over the past month with the Sherco TVS Factory Rally Team and look forward to do my best in the Rally.”

    The Rally of Morocco is among the most grueling international rally events. Participants will ride through the dunes and tricky trails of Moroccan desert across different stages and routes around Erfoud and Fez.
