The production version of the Skoda Vision 7S concept, presented at the 2025 Auto Expo, will be called Peaq. While Skoda has used an E-start, Q-end naming strategy for its electric vehicles – Enyaq, Elroq and Epiq – the Peaq breaks away from that. Upon launch, the seven-seater Skoda Peaq EV will serve as the brand's flagship SUV, and it's expected to be the zero-emission equivalent of the Kodiaq. Skoda Peaq's global debut is slated for later this year. Speaking to Autocar Professional, our sister publication, former Skoda India brand director Petr Janeba said that production-spec Skoda Vision 7S will launch in India in 2027; however, a specific date is yet to be announced. The Peaq SUV will be based on the modular MEB platform. Skoda earlier confirmed an 89kWh battery pack, a range of over 600km and fast-charging capability of up to 200kW.
