Volkswagen has showcased the Phaeton at the on-going Auto Expo 2010. This completely hand built car will soon be VW’s new flagship model when its launched in March 2010.
Retailing at Rs 75lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the Phaeton will only have one engine on offer, the 3.6-litre V6 FSI engine producing 280bhp of power.
Phaeton is targeted towards those who are looking out for a non-flashy but an elegant luxury sedan.
Initially the Phaeton will only be available in the Metros. VW will get the Phaeton to the non-metro cities in few months time.
