Toyota has launched the petrol-powered Innova in India. Prices for the petrol Innova start at Rs 13.72 lakh for the base GX 7-seater manual variant and go upto Rs 19.62 lakh for the top-spec ZX automatic trim. The carmaker had begun taking bookings for the Innova Crysta Petrol a few weeks ago.

Toyota is one of the few mass-market carmakers who have been severely hit by the ongoing diesel ban on vehicles with engine capacities over 2,000 cc in Delhi and NCR. With the petrol Innova Crysta now on sale, Toyota will be able to cater to customers in these regions.

Here’s all you need to know about the Toyota Innova Crysta petrol.

The engine powering the India-spec Innova Crysta petrol is a 2.7-litre, four-cylinder unit that delivers 166hp of power and 245nm of torque. The 2.7-litre unit (Codename 2TR-FE) is the same engine that powered the previous-generation Innova petrol in some international markets like the Middle East. However, for the Innova Crysta, the motor has been upgraded with Dual-VVTi and is slightly more powerful compared to the earlier output of 158hp.
