With the growth of e-commerce and the digital platforms in general, carmakers are coming up with innovative new ways of connecting with their customer base. Tata Motors has done it before by allowing customers to book their Nano online and selling Nano-inspired merchandise, and now it has once again collaborated with eBay India to launch an online brand store for the Tata Safari Storme. This allows customers across the country to purchase Safari Storme-branded merchandise on eBay India.

“Post the success of the Tata Nano brand store, we are delighted to announce the Tata Safari Storme brand store on eBay India,” Ratul Ghosh, head of strategy, eBay India said. “The brand store will showcase special merchandise inspired from the iconic SUV brand exclusively for over 2.1 million active eBay consumers in India.”

Products including leather key chains, trekking bags, t-shirts, camping Swiss knives, magnetic compasses and other branded gear will be on sale.

“Through this initiative, we aim to further engage and deepen our connect with the ever discerning customer, who is increasingly turning to the online space,” added Delna Avari, head of marketing communications, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors. “eBay India is a great place to shop, guarantees reliability and allows our adventure seeking customer to gear-up for that next off-road excursion with exciting Safari Storme merchandise at the click of a button.”
