Tata Movus launched at Rs 6.99 lakh

Tata Motors has launched the Movus utility vehicle at a starting price of Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Tata Movus, as can be seen in the photo, is basically a rebranded version of the Sumo Grande. The Movus is available in two variants – CX and LX – and comes with the options of seven, eight or nine seats and offers flexible seat layout options.
The Tata Movus is powered by a 2.2-litre engine good for 118.35bhp and 25.49kgm of torque. The carmaker is offering a warranty of three years or 1,50,000km on the motor.
At the launch, Ranjit Yadav, president, passenger vehicle business unit, Tata Motors, said, “The all-new Movus is a great proposition for large families as it is spacious, easy to maintain, economical for both short and long distances, delivering great value without compromising on comfort. The new Tata Movus is available in two paint shades – Porcelain White and Meteor Silver.
