Spinny delivered 1,370 pre-owned cars on October 11, the first day of Navratri, marking its highest-ever single-day delivery figure. This represents a 96 percent increase from the 698 cars delivered on the first day of Navratri last year, which fell on September 22, 2025. The day’s deliveries were 1.7 times its previous single-day record at Gudi Padwa in March 2026.
Spinny also shared some interesting insights into its car deliveries. 77 percent of the cars delivered had a single owner. Delhi-NCR, Maharashtra and Karnataka together accounted for 62 percent of total deliveries. Among the 24 cities covered, Pune emerged as the leader, recording 180 car deliveries. The scale of deliveries was equally striking, with one car handed over every 41 seconds. The busiest hour was between noon and 1 pm, when 112 cars were delivered.

In terms of models, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno was the most popular, with one in every 14 cars delivered being a Baleno. It was followed by the Hyundai Grand i10, Renault Kwid, Maruti Suzuki Swift and Tata Tiago. Hatchbacks dominated the deliveries, accounting for 55 percent of the total, while SUVs made up 26 percent and sedans contributed 14 percent.
Transmission preferences also offered an interesting insight, with one in every three cars delivered featuring an automatic gearbox. Petrol cars accounted for 82 percent of deliveries, while diesel cars made up 12 percent. The remaining deliveries included 66 CNG-powered cars and 10 electric vehicles (EVs).

Women accounted for 18 percent of buyers nationally, rising to 29 percent in Bengaluru. White was the most popular colour, chosen for 28 percent of the cars, followed by grey at 22 percent and blue, silver and red at 12 percent each.
Spinny co-founder and CEO Niraj Singh attributed the milestone to the efforts of the company’s operations and delivery teams, who coordinated vehicle preparation and deliveries across multiple locations simultaneously. However, he noted that the year-on-year comparison should be viewed in context, as last year’s demand was affected by GST reductions on new cars. The resulting pressure on the used-car market created a lower base, meaning the headline growth figure may not fully reflect the underlying demand trajectory, he further added.
