Skoda car prices up by 2-5 percent

The price hike ranges from Rs 14,000 for the base Fabia to Rs 94,000 for the flagship Superb saloon.

Skoda Auto has hiked the prices of its product range following the increase of the basic excise duty.

The price hike will be in the range of 2.2-5.1 percent across product line-up, which means the Fabia range will start from Rs 4.6 lakh, a hike of Rs 14,000. The Rapid saloon too will be dearer by Rs 15,000 and will now be available at a starting price of Rs 6.9 lakh (1.6 petrol Active). The Laura range will now start at Rs 12.9 lakh – that’s a price hike of Rs 32,000, while the Yeti gets costlier by Rs 43,000 and will be available at a starting price of Rs 13.9 lakh.

Skoda’s flagship Superb saloon will a price hike in the range of Rs 94,000 and will retail at a starting price of 19.6 lakh.
