Land Rover will launch its limited-edition Holland & Holland Range Rover in the United States. The special edition, based on the Range Rover SVAutobiography, was originally unveiled in 2014, and is developed by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operation in collaboration with Holland & Holland, the British gun maker, and was limited to 40 units.
The SUV features a unique green exterior and special Holland & Holland badging. Interiors are upholstered in espresso and tan leather and have thick wood veneer inserts cut from a single piece of walnut, and get metal door-handles with Holland & Holland engravings.
There’s also the option of an executive rear seating package which includes two individually adjustable rear seats and a rear centre console with electrically deployable tables. However, the highlight of the interiors is in the luggage area, as this special-edition Range Rover comes with a leather-trimmed gun case that holds two guns from Holland & Holland.
The bespoke car is powered by the same supercharged 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine that powers the Range Rover SVR sold in India. It delivers an output of 543bhp and a massive 69.4kgm of peak torque, while power is transmitted to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The SUV can dash to 100kph from standstill in 5.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 224kph.
