Toyota has launched its full hybrid electric mid-size car Prius, at the Auto Expo 2010.
Priced at Rs 26.55lakh for the base model and Rs 27.86lakh for the top end variant (ex-showroom Delhi), Toyota has put the Prius on sale now.
Prius will be powered by a 1.8litre 2ZR FXE engine which will produce 136bhp of power. Equipped with a CVT gearbox the Prius has a highly aerodynamic design with the coefficient of drag reduced to 0.25 CD.
Deliveries of the Prius will commence from March 1, 2010.
