In what is a rare occurrence in the used car market, Autocar India found a pair of Mercedes CLSs on sale at the Mahindra First Choice pre-owned super store in Mumbai.

The used car giant has picked up petrol 350 CGI and a diesel 350 CDI. Both are September 2010 models, the petrol has clocked just 9600km and the diesel a little over 9000km.

The petrol at Rs 48 lakh is less than half the cost of a new car that is currently on sale for Rs 1.1 crore. The diesel commands a higher price at Rs 60 lakh shaving off 23 percent off the new car sticker price. Considering that the cars are a little over nine months old, kept in mint condition and come with Mercedes warranties, they are a steal for someone with deep pockets and looking for a smart buy.
