Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3

Nissan has confirmed the models for its display at the Tokyo Auto Salon. The line-up includes concepts and a few other performance-oriented versions of its standard cars.

The Japanese carmaker will showcase the Juke Personalisation Advanced Concept which comes with a yellow exterior with body stripes and black alloy wheels. As the name suggests, it is the cosmetic customisation program for the Juke crossover. It also comes equipped with a front spoiler and revised side skirts.

Then there’s the e-NV200 Sports Utility Gear concept. Like the Juke, it too features a black and gold exterior shade with unique alloys. Nissan says the car will be both sporty and practical owing to numerous changes.

One of the more popular Nissan cars, the 370Z, has been given the Nismo treatment. The 370Z NISMO gets some performance parts, with Recaro race seats and a more aerodynamic body kit. Nissan has not confirmed anything about the mechanical specifications.

Even the Juke gets a Nismo version. The Juke Nismo RS has an upgraded engine, a retuned suspension and more powerful brakes. It also gets Recaro seats and a revised steering geometry. Two other models that also get the Nismo treatment are the March NISMO S and the Note NISMO S. They too boast an array of performance parts.

Highlight of the line-up though, is likely to be the new GT-R NISMO GT3. It has lost some weight and is more aerodynamic than before. Needless to say it is most likely to be more fuel efficient than its predecessor.
