Mercedes opens largest workshop in India

Mercedes-Benz has opened a new state-of-the-art workshop capable of servicing 60 cars every day.

Mercedes-Benz has inaugurated its largest workshop in India.

The new workshop, located at Andheri (East) in Mumbai, has 54 dedicated bays managed by 155 service personnel. Peter Honegg, MD and CEO of Mercedes Benz India commented on the workshop, “Our world-class servicing standards will be the key differentiator. We have been strategically expanding our network in India and this new workshop is yet another step to move closer to the customers.”

The workshop will provide round-the-clock support for service, general repairs, body repairs, paint jobs, wheel alignment and balancing, tyre change, car wash and polishing among other service tasks. The 1,00,000sqft facility run by Mercedes dealer, Auto Hangar, required an investment of over Rs 52crore.
