Mercedes-Benz has released a teaser image of the autonomous driving car that it is currently developing. The model, in concept form, will be showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2015.

The image only shows off the silhouette of the car and it seems like a one-box design. The bean-shaped look is enhanced thanks to the long wheelbase and really short overhangs, both in the front and the rear. It seems like the tail-lights are really slim, and placed quite close to the wheel-arches. A slight bulge is also seen on top of the car. This could very well be the sensors and cameras that aid the concept car in navigation.

No details about the mechanicals or any of the technology used have been revealed. All details about the concept are expected on January 5, 2015, when Daimler chairman, Dr Dieter Zetsche unveils it at the CES.
