A leaked image of Mercedes-Benz’s product offensive has surfaced online revealing a bevvy of new models that will launch in the next year. This year, the German manufacturer launched the new E-class Coupe and Cabriolet, S-class facelifts, X-class pick-up, and the GLA facelift.

The upcoming CLS, which shares the MRA platform with the current C-class, is expected to be shown at the Los Angeles motor show this December. Mercedes is also expected to debut the G-class SUV facelift before the end of the year, though sales will only begin next year. The special- edition G 63 AMGs that were displayed at Frankfurt were apparently the G-class’ last hurrah.

In 2018, the German brand will launch the fourth-generation A-class hatchback along with a sedan variant that will also have a long-wheelbase version. The A-class sedan won't replace the second-gen CLA that is currently on sale. Instead, it will feature a more conventional roof unlike the CLA’s swoopy, coupé-like roof. The third-gen CLA is expected to launch sometime later. The A-class sedan was previewed in Shanghai in April 2017 and is aimed at the Chinese market.

Mercedes has also planned launches for the C-class facelift, the new GLC F-Cell plug-in SUV and a long-wheelbase version of the GLC. The GLC LWB too is expected to target the Chinese market.

Performance arm of Mercedes, AMG will introduce a four-door coupé in 2018 that is based on the Mercedes-AMG GT concept which was shown at the 2017 Geneva motor show.

On the utility side, Mercedes will launch the all-new Sprinter van in 2018 to better compete in the commercial space. It will join the recently launched X-class pick-up truck.

Beyond 2018, Mercedes has planned to officially launch its EQ all-electric sub-brand in 2019 with the production-spec EQC SUV coming first, followed by the EQA hatchback in 2020.

Good - Rs 20/litre cheaper than E20 is a big advantage
