Jaguar has launched the Completely Knocked Down (CKD) XJ 2.0-litre petrol at Rs 93.24 (ex-showroom, Mumbai, before Octroi).

The 2.0-litre petrol XJ is now locally assembled alongside the XF sedan, the Land Rover Freelander and the more recent XJ 3.0-litre diesel, at Jaguar Land Rover’s Pune plant.

The 2.0-litre Jaguar XJ sedan gets some equipment centred on rear-seat comfort, including electrically adjustable rear seats with massage function in three intensity settings, increased rear headroom, two 10-inch LCD screens, electric rear side window blinds, Meridian audio system, LED reading lights and business tables in the rear.

It is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol unit that is good for 237bhp and 34.7kgm of torque. The 2.0-litre petrol XJ comes in the top-end Portfolio trim only.

With the CKD petrol XJ now priced just below the one crore mark, customers looking for petrol luxury limousine could well be attracted to this Jaguar flagship.
