Two of Maruti’s top-selling models, the Swift hatchback and Dzire sedan, have been given a quintessential festive-season refresh. The two limited-edition models - Swift Silver Plus and Dzire Regalia are on sale now, and get an accessories pack each at a more reasonable price than they would cost separately.

The Swift Silver Plus edition gets a new Sony audio and speaker system, reverse parking sensors, new upholstery, and neck pillows with back cushion. As standalones, these accessories would cost Rs 31,745, but Maruti is offering them at Rs 27,500. That’s a benefit of Rs 4,245.

The Dzire Regalia adds a bit more on the inside and out. On the inside it gets wrinkled leather upholstery, some faux wood inserts and new floor mats. On the outside, it gets reverse parking sensors and a new sticker-job with 'Regalia' badging. Accessories that would otherwise cost Rs 18,810 if bought individually, are being offered at Rs 13,800. That is a discount of Rs 5,010.

These mild additions to Maruti’s already-high-selling cars only mean more sales for the country’s largest carmaker.
