Hyundai inaugurates Unity digital showroom

The premium showroom showcases Hyundai's entire line-up; aims to deliver an interactive car-buying experience.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has inaugurated its first digital automotive experience outlet, Unity Hyundai, in New Delhi. This is the second showroom to open in the city under the tie-up between HMIL and the Unity Group. 
 
The Unity outlet aims to offer customers a premium and interactive car-buying experience by adopting digital screens  and tablets. The showroom will allow customers to test-drive, exchange their old car, or purchase a new car either with cash or through the various finance packages that Hyundai plans to offer via Unity. 
 
Unity is staffed with specially trained sales representatives to make the process of purchasing a car flexible and convenient for the customer. 
 
Commenting on the opening of the first digital experience outlet,Y K Koo, Managing Director, HMIL commented: “Hyundai has the customers truly at its heart. This outlet expresses Hyundai’s modern premium brand identity. Unity Hyundai is India’s first interactive, creative and understanding space which boosts the Hyundai brand value by creating an emotional connect with the existing and future customers. The key drivers for the success of Unity Hyundai-Digital Experience Outlet will be evolution, innovation and experience. This exciting new digital outlet from Hyundai exemplifies these themes to create a unique experience.”
 
The digital showroom is similar in function to Maruti's Nexa premium dealerships, however, Hyundai retails all its models via Unity. The current line-up includes the Eon, i10, Grand i10, i20, i20 Active, Xcent, Verna, Creta, Elantra and Santa Fe.
