Amaze leads sales for Honda in February

Honda’s sales for February 2015 saw a rise of 16 percent vis-à-vis February 2014 on the back of the Amaze sedan. The Amaze was Honda’s top seller for February with sales reaching 7,163 units. The second highest seller for the Japanese carmaker was the City with figures of 6,505 units followed by the Mobilio MPV with 1,697 units, Brio with 1,397 units and the CR-V with 140 units sold.

The Honda Amaze, since its launch in 2013, has amassed a total sales of 1,83,533 units while the Brio has seen a dramatic decline in sales. In the fiscal year 2014-15, the Brio saw a drop of 26 percent in sales with only 13,344 units sold compared to 18,044 units in 2013-14.

Honda recently launched a new top trim for the Amaze sedan, known as the VX (O), which comes equipped with a new infotainment system and a lightly refreshed instrument cluster.
