Ford will launch the EcoSport Titanium S in India on May 14, 2018. The launch will also mark the return of the performance-oriented 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine. In addition to the extra power, the Ecoboost-equipped EcoSport Titanium S will feature a stiffer suspension setup, making it more suited for spirited driving and quicker steering, similar to the previous EcoSport. The Titanium S will sit at the top of the EcoSport line-up in India and will be available with the 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine as well.

Additionally, the new top-spec trim will get more features like a sunroof, new 17-inch alloy wheels with a design similar to that seen on some earlier BMW SUVs. Also, standard on the Titanium S will be HID headlamps, a slightly tweaked instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch information display, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

The SUV will get a contrast roof, black inserts for the grille, headlamps and fog lamps. A new Satin Orange paint shade will also be introduced on this variant, and the SUV will get colour-coordinated interiors, which means the elements on the centre console, doors, and the seats will be finished in the same orange shade.

    EcoSport Signature Edition

Expected to hit showrooms on the same day as the Titanium S is a new EcoSport Signature Edition. It will be based on the Titanium+ variant and will be available with the 123hp, 1.5-litre Dragon petrol engine and the 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel motor. This variant will also get 17-inch alloy wheels with a different design, along with electronic stability control and hill-start assist. Additional equipment on this variant will include a rear spoiler, black inserts for the grille, headlamps and fog lamps. It'll come with a unique Anodised Blue paint shade with colour-coordinated interiors and special 'Signature' badging. The all-black interiors will feature blue contrast stitching.

The updated EcoSport will take on the updated Vitara Brezza and the upcoming Hyundai Creta facelift.
