February 2018 issue is out on stands now

The February 2018 issue features a full-blown review of the all-new Maruti Swift and exclusive drives of the Range Rover Velar and Lexus LS 500h. Also in the issue are drives of the Datsun Redigo AMT, Volvo XC40 and Nissan Leaf, along with an extensive Auto Expo 2018 preview. Here are the highlights:

    New Maruti Suzuki Swift

In its third generation now, Maruti’s stylish and popular hatchback is better equipped, more spacious and more grown up, and is all the better for it. We sample all four powertrain combinations in our review.

    Range Rover Velar

The all-new Velar is big on style, but is there more to it than meets the eye? We take the most road-focused Rangie ever out for a spin to see if it has the go to match the show.

    Lexus LS 500h

Lexus’ new flagship wants to redefine automotive luxury. And while it is as feature-rich and opulent as you’d want a limousine to be, it’s not what you expect, at all.

    Mahindra Thar vs Force Gurkha

Battle of the off-roaders: we pitch the Mahindra Thar CRDe against Force Motors’ Gurkha Explorer to see which one lives to tell the trail.

    Volvo XC40

The 40 series is the starting point of the Volvo range, and with the XC40, the carmaker’s SUV line-up is now complete. We head to Spain to find out just how good it is.

    Auto Expo 2018 preview

Despite several absentees of note, there will be a slew of new cars at the Auto Expo. Here’s the low-down on what will be displayed at this year’s show and that includes cars and bikes you’ve not yet heard about.

    Autocar Awards 2018

28 cars and 13 motorcycles vied for the automotive Holy Grail in 2017, but which ones were good enough to drive off with the trophies? Read all about the ones who won big at the Autocar Awards 2018.

    Kawasaki Versys-X 300

The moderately sized adventure-tourer we’ve waited for is here at last. Has it been worth the wait, or is it not quite the fairytale we were hoping for? Only one way to know…

    Harley-Davidson Fat Bob

The new Fat Bob is the most aggressive and sporty of the 2018 Softail family – and most importantly, it’s a hoot to ride.

    Honda CBR 650F

Honda’s middleweight has received a big update, but even with the substantial changes made to it, the CBR 650F has managed to retain its friendly nature.
