GM India recently organised a Chevrolet ‘You First’ camp as part of an aftersales initiative. During the three-day (April 11-13) camp, all authorised Chevrolet workshops in the country attended to 35,662 vehicles.

The highlights of the You First camp included a free 51-point vehicle checkup, free top-up of lubrication vehicle oils, coupons with 5 percent discount on spare parts, 10 percent discount on labour and 25 percent discount on car care products, free top wash, vacuuming, tyre dressing and glass cleaning on all vehicles.

GM India says the camp also helped in generating new vehicle sales leads. Customers were also offered free evaluation of their existing cars with attractive vehicle exchange benefits.

In FY2013-14, the company sold a total of 80,890 units, posting a decline of 8.24 percent over sales in 2012-13.
