Ford EcoSport vs Renault Duster

 

The Renault Duster took our market by storm when first launched -- it created a new segment for itself and quite literally, changed the carmaker's fortunes in India. It even went on to win our Car of the Year award last year. The EcoSport is, just like the Duster did for Renault, a car that has dramatically changed Ford's fortunes here. It's was the Duster's first credible rival in the compact SUV segment and with waiting periods stretching to as long as 10 months, this SUV is a runaway success. Naturally, we decided that the only way to find out which is best is to compare them, spec for spec, and in various road conditions -- city and highway. So, did the Duster win or did Ford's EcoSport spoil the capable Renault's party.
