Audi has unveiled the A7 Sportback concept at the Auto Expo 2010. Audi is pulling no punches and has confirmed that the A7 is slated for India after its international debut in late 2010. This Sportback is more of a style and image statement for Audi than a practical option as a luxury saloon.
Not exactly suited for chauffeur-driven owners, the A7 will be a niche within a niche just like the coupe-like Merc CLS four-door is in India. The A7 will be a technology showcase for Audi and will appeal to those who want a bit of style and flair and aren’t worried too much about practicality.
Prices are likely to be announced only after the car goes on sale officially in India.
