Autocar Performance Show 2015 commences

Stunning line-up of exciting models and launches from leading brands, as well as entertainment for car and bike lovers at 10th edition of APS.

The Autocar Performance Show 2015 officially kicked off today at the MMRDA grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex. Marking its 10th anniversary, the event will feature some of the most expensive and powerful cars and bikes in the country along with car accessories and the latest in in-car infotainment technology.

This year, manufacturers are using the event as a platform to showcase their latest offerings to gauge customer reaction. Chevrolet, Audi and Bajaj have brought out the Trailblazer, S5 and the new Avenger line-up along with the Pulsar RS200 all-black edition respectively.

Other car and bike manufacturers present at the event are Bentley, BMW, Fiat , Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Maruti Suzuki, Mercedes Benz, Mini, Porsche, Renault, Rolls Royce, Skoda, Tata, Toyota, Volvo, Volkswagen, DSK Benelli, Indian Chief, Harley Davidson, Triumph Motorcycles and Yamaha.

There are live events such as the Toyota 4X4 Performance Drive and the Maruti Autocross, while Mercedes is using the platform to spread road safety awareness through its Safe Roads campaign.

Speaking on the occasion, Hormazd Sorabjee, editor of Autocar India said, "We’re very excited about the 10th anniversary of the show this year and look forward to executing even bigger editions in the years to come. The Autocar Performance Show will always be a platform which brings the entire auto industry under one roof and gives auto enthusiasts of Mumbai a chance to see the hottest cars and bikes in the market".

The Stuff Gadget Show 2015 is also being held alongside APS 2015 with prominent premium brands showcasing their latest tech products. Some of the companies participating in the show include Amkette, Apple, Benq, Betta Electronics, Cezar, Cooler Master, Ethopia, eZone, Garmin, GoPro, Kingston, Maple, Miracle Digital, Philips, Sandisk, Videocon and Wacom.
