Mini India has opened pre-bookings for the 2026 Cooper Convertible JCW (John Cooper Works) Pack ahead of its launch sometime in April 2026. Based on the Cooper S Convertible, the JCW Pack introduces sportier-looking exterior and interior styling updates while retaining most of the donor car’s powertrain specifications and feature set. The announcement of the 2026 Cooper Convertible JCW Pack comes barely a month after the launch of the Cooper S Victory Edition.

2026 Mini Cooper Convertible JCW Pack: Exterior
As part of the JCW Pack upgrade, the 2026 Mini Cooper Convertible is offered in two unique colours – Legend Grey and Midnight Black. The JCW Pack also includes a jet-black finish for the fabric roof, along with a gloss-black finish for the front grille, outer rearview mirror (ORVM) housing, door handles, wheel arches, side skirts and bumpers. Furthermore, the car gets 17-inch JCW wheels finished in black and JCW-branded Sport brakes. If painted in Legend Grey, black bonnet stripes are added.
2026 Mini Cooper Convertible JCW Pack: Interior
The interior of the Mini Cooper Convertible JCW Pack comprises two-tone textile surfaces, where the dashboard and door panels are devoid of chrome or leather. Instead, Mini has used recycled fabric lining for these. The black Sport seats come with a contrasting red stripe on the front headrests and JCW logos, while other design features include a JCW Sport steering wheel with paddle shifters, suede finish for the headliner and ‘JCW’ branding on the door sills. The feature set includes adaptive dampers, a head-up display, Mini connected-car suite, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto and a Harman Kardon audio system.
2026 Mini Cooper Convertible JCW Pack: Powertrain and launch
Under the bonnet is a 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine that produces 204hp and 300Nm of torque. This four-cylinder mill drives the front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, translating to a claimed 0-100kph time of 6.9 seconds. This is 0.3 seconds slower than the hard-top version of the 2026 Mini Cooper with the JCW Pack, which is likely because of the added weight of the convertible roof mechanism.
Mini India has not yet revealed any details about the 2026 Mini Cooper Convertible JCW Pack’s price, but has confirmed that the launch will take place sometime later this month. The convertible will command a premium over the hard-top version of the JCW Pack, which, for reference, is priced at Rs 55.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
