2026 Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition exterior and interior
Changes over the standard versions are largely cosmetic
There are a few noticeable changes over a standard Fortuner. The 2026 Leader Edition comes with a different front grille design finished in black, a more aggressive-looking front bumper with black and silver trim, and bold ‘TOYOTA’ lettering on the bonnet. There are also 18-inch alloy wheels finished in black, along with a dual-tone black roof and a tailgate also featuring black trim.
The interior of the 2026 Fortuner Leader Edition is finished in dual-tone black and maroon upholstery and matching door trims. It also gets ambient lighting and illuminated door sills. Other features offered with the 2026 Fortuner Leader Edition include auto-folding ORVMs (outside rearview mirrors) and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Ambient lighting aside, almost all of the other features were available with the 2025 Leader Edition too.
2026 Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition powertrain
The Leader Edition continues to be powered by the familiar 2.8-litre diesel engine
Under the bonnet sits the familiar four-cylinder diesel engine that powers much of the Fortuner range. It has a peak output of 204hp and 500Nm when mated to the 6-speed automatic gearbox – the torque figure drops to 420Nm when paired with the 6-speed manual transmission. The 2026 Fortuner Leader Edition is only available with two-wheel drive (4x2).
All prices are ex-showroom.
