Yamaha supports Dream Runners foundation

Yamaha to flag off Chennai marathon in support of local NGO.

Yamaha, in association with Dream Runners Foundation, will flag off the Dream Runners Half Marathon 2014, which will begin 5am from the Olcott School, opposite Rajaji Bhavan near Elliot beach, Besant Nagar in Chennai on Sunday 22nd June and will finish at the same point, covering a total distance of 21km.

The marathon is organised to support Sneha, which is a Chennai based NGO that fights against mental depression and prevention of suicides. More than 5,000 participants are expected to participate in this marathon.

To support the marathon dedicated to such a cause, the company has launched the ‘Zippy Happy Life’ campaign, through which it will encourage people to stay positive, healthy and happy. As a part of this campaign, Yamaha’s mascot Zippy will be present at the marathon as well, giving a word on happy living to everyone.
