VIDA DIRT.E K3: All you need to know
Size-adaptive platform addresses rapid growth
One of the standout features of the DIRT.E K3 is its three-position adjustment mechanism, which lets you switch between small, medium, and large sizes using just an Allen key. This system alters both seat height and wheelbase, ensuring the bike grows along with the child and remains usable for several years instead of being outgrown quickly. The brand has also mentioned that both front and rear suspension can be purchased as optional accessories when the child reaches a skill level that warrants or requires it.
The DIRT.E K3 is powered by a 500W motor that allows a top speed of 23–25kph. Its removable battery takes around three hours for a full 0–100 percent charge and delivers up to three hours of run time depending on terrain and rider input. The motorcycle gets three ride modes – Beginner, Amateur, and Pro – limiting speeds to 8kph, 16kph, and 25kph, respectively. Parents can access these settings through a dedicated app that allows them to set speed limits, lock certain modes, and monitor their child’s riding sessions.
Since this is a motorcycle for kids, VIDA has also incorporated several safety-focused elements. These include reinforced wiring, a brake lever sized for smaller hands, energy-absorbing materials in key impact areas, and an emergency cutoff tether that stops the motor if the rider falls off.
The DIRT.E K3 is priced at an introductory Rs 69,990 and will be manufactured at VIDA’s Tirupati plant in Andhra Pradesh. Initial deliveries will be made in Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Jaipur, and Calicut.
