Vespa has launched yet another 150cc scooter in their line-up – the Vespa Elegante Special Edition. The Elegante is based on the VXL 150 and is differentiated by additional accessories and unique paint schemes. The Vespa Elegante Special Edition is priced at Rs. 95,077 (ex-showroom, Pune).

The Vespa Elegante comes in two unique paint schemes – Beige Unico and Pearl White. The Beige Unico paint scheme is inspired “by the pristine beauty of the beaches of Italy.” Other embellishments include a tinted fly screen, two-piece leather seat and an ‘Elegante’ badge. The Elegante also gets a grab rail round the back, though misses the front bumper and rear perimeter guards of the VXL 150.

The Vespa Elegante, like the VXL 150, is powered by a 150cc engine that puts out 11.6hp at 7,000rpm and 11.5Nm at 5,500rpm. It also gets larger 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres as opposed to the VXL 150’s 11/10-inch setup.
