Updated BMW CE 04 unveiled

BMW Motorrad has taken the wraps off the updated CE 04 electric maxi-scooter. While the scooter’s powertrain remains unchanged, it now gets more colour options and equipment to enhance everyday usability and comfort.

  1. BMW CE 04 now offered in three trims: Base, Avantgarde and Exclusive
  2. New comfort seats, windscreen and centre stand added to accessories list

2025 BMW CE 05: what’s new?

It now gets a slightly refreshed design and more features.

The visual updates to the BMW CE 04 are primarily centred around new paint schemes. The Base trim comes in Lightwhite with matte black and orange accents. The Avantgarde trim gets Gravity Blue metallic bodywork paired with vivid yellow highlights, while the Exclusive variant wears a more premium-looking Space Silver Metallic shade and gets a taller windscreen, comfort seats and an optional centre stand.

Updated BMW CE 04 unveiled

Mechanically, there are no changes and the CE 04 retains its 42hp (31kW) electric motor that produces 62Nm. It has a top speed of 120kph, and the 8.9kWh battery offers a claimed range of 130km. While the outgoing CE 04 is currently on sale in India for Rs 15.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), BMW hasn’t announced when it intends to bring in the updated model.
