Ultraviolette new AI technology
The company continues to lead the charge when it comes to tech on Indian two-wheelers.
AI voice assistants are all the rage these days and while some cars come equipped with AI, they’re still a rarity in two wheelers. Ultraviolette is one of the manufacturers constantly pushing the boundaries of technology in two wheelers, and after debuting radar-based safety systems in the X-47 last year, they’ve now shown off a new AI voice assistant technology.
This system is being developed in partnership with American company Soundhound AI whose technology is already used by car manufacturers like Fiat and Hyundai. The voice AI system allows the rider to access multiple data points of the vehicle such as charge status, ride modes, ride statics, service status, and more. It also allows them to control aspects of the vehicle like asking it to change the regen level or traction control or even start the navigation.
If implemented well, a system like this could greatly reduce the need for using physical switchgear and scrolling through display menus while riding, which is a clear safety advantage. The system is likely to function via a Bluetooth communicator that can record the rider’s instructions and relay them to the vehicle.
This technology is still under development and is not yet available in any of the company’s current products. It could debut in one of the upcoming launches for 2026, like the Ultraviolette Tesseract electric scooter or the Shockwave electric dirt bike. Whether it will be backwards compatible with existing Ultraviolette motorcycles is not yet clear. If it can be installed via a software update, then UV will surely let its existing customers enjoy this new feature, but if new hardware or additional computing power is required, then it probably won’t be possible.
Ultraviolette new TFT display
Upcoming models could be getting a new TFT display.

On the topic of new hardware, the bike seen in the video shared by the company appears to be using a larger and new rectangular TFT display. This could be a hint at what to expect in future updates on the existing model line-up as well as on new launches coming from the company. There also appears to be a small camera at the top of the display, much like the front-facing camera on a smartphone. What sort of safety or convenience functions this camera unlocks will be interesting to see, as well as what its privacy implications will be.
