TVS has launched a new version of its highly popular Jupiter scooter called the Classic. As the name suggests, the Jupiter Classic features retro-themed design details like round chrome mirrors, a new ‘sunlit ivory’ body colour, a chrome backrest and a new windscreen. Also on offer is a USB charger, dual-tone seat, ‘classic decals’ and a chrome backrest.

The Jupiter Classic is based on the Jupiter ZX, which means it gets a front disc brake and TVS’ Sync Brake System that adds a touch of front braking when the rider pulls the rear brake lever. This helps to safely reduce braking distance for riders who aren’t confident at using the front brake. TVS has priced the Jupiter Classic at Rs 55,266 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it just Rs 900 higher than the Jupiter ZX.

The Jupiter is one of TVS’ largest selling products and is the second-largest selling scooter brand in India after the Honda Activa.
