The Benelli Tornado 302 is a fully-faired version of Benelli’s popular naked, the TNT 300, and will be Benelli’s entry-level fully faired motorcycle. It is finally all set for a market launch in the last week of May 2017.

The Tornado 302 shares much of its underpinnings with the TNT 300, including the engine – a 300cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit with DOHC that produces 38.26hp at 11,500rpm and 26.5Nm at 10,000rpm. Considering the engine layout and specs, the Tornado 302 will directly compete with the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the Yamaha YZF-R3.

The Tornado 302 rides on inverted forks up front and a monoshock round the back, and gets ventilated petal-type discs at the front and back.

Considering the TNT 300’s ex-showroom, Delhi, price tag of Rs 2.8 lakh, we expect the Tornado 302 to be priced around Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
