Suzuki Motorcycle India has tied up with leading online marketplace Snapdeal, for the sale of its two-wheelers in India.

Tony Navin, senior vice president, Partnerships and Strategic initiatives, Snapdeal said that the company was excited to bring in Suzuki motorcycles on their newly launched platform, Snapdeal Motors. The platform will allow prospective customers to browse through models, make their selection and pay the booking amount for the vehicle online. They can then select the nearest dealership from where they want to pick up the two-wheeler.

“A tie-up with an online giant like Snapdeal was a logical choice for Suzuki as internet and e-commerce is starting to become a popular channel in India. We are sure that this collaboration will be profitable for Snapdeal, Suzuki and our customers,” said Masayoshi Ito, MD, Suzuki Motorcycles.

Snapdeal Motors is designed to provide customers with a hassle-free buying experience, including the loan process. As part of this new partnership, customers booking their Suzuki motorcycles online are being offered free insurance for a year.
