Simple Energy has surpassed the 1,000-unit sales milestone for its One Gen 1.5 and OneS models in FY 2024-25.

1. Simple Energy has increased output by 40 percent at its Hosur plant
2. The company now has 64 touchpoints, up from just 10 less than a year ago
3. The brand currently sells Simple One Gen 1.5 and One S

Simple is an Hosur-based EV manufacturer

It has a 2 lakh sq.ft manufacturing facility

Simple Energy, an Indian electric two-wheeler startup with a manufacturing facility in Hosur, has crossed a key milestone by recording over 1,000 unit sales in FY2024-25.
For context, the company had sold around 1,800 units in total over the previous two years, indicating a clear rise in demand and a steady improvement in sales performance during the last financial year.

To meet the growing demand for its scooters, Simple Energy has increased production by 40 percent at its 2 lakh sq. ft. Hosur facility.

In September 2025, the company became one of India’s first OEMs to commercially manufacture heavy rare-earth-free motors, marking an important step toward reducing reliance on imported materials.

Earlier in 2025, Simple Energy had announced plans to scale up production and expand its retail reach to 150 outlets by March 2026. While the current network of 64 touchpoints doesn’t yet match that ambitious target, the growth from just 10 outlets less than a year ago represents a strong step forward.

With its rising production capacity, ongoing expansion and focus on in-house technology development, Simple Energy has made steady progress through 2025 despite the EV market facing a few struggles with sourcing rare-earth materials.
