Royal Enfield has launched its Road-Side Assistance (RSA) service for its existing as well as new customers.

As part of the RSA service, Royal Enfield will send a technician to site, in case of mechanical or electric failures, for any required repair work. In case of an accident leaving the motorcycle immobile, the service also provides for the motorcycle to be towed to the nearest Royal Enfield service centre in the 100km range, without any charges. Additionally, the RSA service covers common incidents such as punctures, low fuel, and battery drainage as well.

The bike maker is offering RSA subscriptions to new customers free of charge for the first year, after which they will have to pay a fee to avail the service. Existing customers have to purchase the RSA package, which costs Rs 800 per year for a motorcycle that is one- to three-years-old and Rs 1,000 for a motorcycle that is three- to five-years-old.

The RSA service is not available for any Royal Enfield motorcycle older than five years.
