MV Agusta has launched the new-gen Brutale 800 in India at Rs 15.59 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
This makes it the most affordable bike in MV’s India line-up, as the faired F3 800 is priced around Rs 1.5 lakh higher. The new bike features sharper, redesigned style that harks back to the original Brutale, while remaining one of the most beautiful naked bikes on the planet. The new Brutale 800 continues to offer a stunning single-sided swingarm but raises the style with a fresh tank, sub-frame and tail section.
The new elliptical full LED headlamp packs a DRL and gives the motorcycle a stunning face.Nestled between the light alloy, trellis-style frame is a Euro-IV compliant inline, three-cylinder engine that puts out 109hp and 89Nm. The power figure is slightly lower than the previous-gen Brutale 800 but MV claims more torque across the rev range, which works towards improving the riding experience. We had a chance to experience the previous-gen Brutale 800 in India even though the bike was never launched.
The old bike packed tremendous power within a tiny feeling frame and a short wheelbase, resulting in a thrilling experience. We expect the new bike to offer a similarly explosive experience, but with added refinement. Look out for a review soon.
