Indian tyre manufacturing giant MRF Limited has launched its Mogrip range of three on and off-road tyres in varying sizes, fitting a variety of Indian motorcycles. The Moto D is available in 3.00 x 17, 100/90 x 17, 2.75 x 18 and 3.00 x 18 inches. The Meteor can be availed in sizes of 100/90 x 17 and 100/90 x 18 inches while the Meteor M will come to stores in two sizes, 3.00 x 17 and 3.00 x 18 inches. These tyres use geometrically styled directional tread patterns enabling these tyres to offer straight-line stability on tarmac as well as of it through its centre blocks, while the blocks on the shoulder of the tyres aid grip in corners on the road and even in the dirt. MRF claim their tyres offer ample grip even in wet riding conditions.

The Mogrip range of tyres will be available with authorised dealers and franchise stores across the country soon. With the Mogrip range now available motorcycle enthusiasts who like an occasional off-road adventure or travel off-road regularly will have tyres suited for the job. It makes absolute sense to see such tyres on sale considering bikes like the Hero Impulse are available in the Indian market.
