    Matter Group has organised a ride called 'Aerathon Bharat' which aims to promote sustainable mobility, foster engagement with local communities, and raise awareness about the critical environmental challenges.

    Matter Aerathon Bharat details

    The journey kicked off at the Statue of Unity in Gujarat and will traverse India's diverse landscapes covering over 25,000 km across 25 states, using Matter’s Aera motorcycles. This expedition also aims to shed light on the tangible effects of climate change, such as shifting ecosystems, rising temperatures, and the loss of biodiversity.

    Matter Energy is an energy storage and management company based out of Ahmedabad which also now manufactures motorcycles. Matter has only one motorcycle in their line-up called the Matter Aera. The motorcycle was first showcased in 2022 at Matter’s keynote event. Pre-booking commenced in 2023 at Rs 1.44 lakh with the bike receiving 40,000 pre-booking amounts.

    The Matter Aera is powered by a 10kW motor which is paired to a 4-speed gearbox. Powering the motorcycle is a liquid cooled 5kW battery which has a range of 125kms. It also features a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with bluetooth connectivity and navigation.
