KTM 250 Duke now available with special exchange offer

KTM India has rolled out special festive season offers for those looking to buy the KTM 250 Duke. Under the new schemes, customers can exchange their existing motorcycle, irrespective of make or model, for a brand new 250 Duke. All the customer has to do is go to a KTM dealership, get his/her existing motorcycle evaluated and pay the remainder of the 250 Duke’s on-road amount to get the bike. At present, the KTM 250 Duke will set you back by Rs 2.31 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), without the exchange offer.

In addition to the exchange offer, customers can also opt for finance schemes that include zero down payment and low interest rates. For instance, the rate of interest for a 12-month loan tenure is a shade above 5 percent, while on loan period of two years, the interest rate is 6.5 percent. A three-year loan will attract an interest rate of 7.10 percent.

The 250 Duke sits in between the 200 Duke and the 390 Duke in KTM’s India line-up and is powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 30hp at 9,000rpm and 24Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. The engine is mated to a slipper-clutch-equipped 6-speed gearbox.

These special schemes have been rolled out to boost sales amid an industry-wide slow down. With the looming BS6 norms and low consumer sentiment, many customers have deferred purchasing new motorcycles. Festive offers such as these should help stimulate motorcycle sales. We expect other manufacturers to come up with attractive schemes as the festival season draws closer.DUMMY TEXT (please add subbed copy)
