India among top 10 markets for BMW Motorrad

    As of this year, India is among the top 10 markets in the world in terms of sales for BMW Motorrad. The German bikemaker retails its entire product portfolio in the country and has sold more than 6,000 units this year. 

    1. G 310 R, GS constitute 90 percent of India sales 
    2. Over 10,000 310cc BMWs sold in country till date 

    BMW Motorrad sales cross 6,000 units this year

     

    Hot on the heels of the 2023 BMW S 1000 RR's launch, BMW Motorrad announced that India is amongst its top 10 global markets in terms of sales figures. In fact, this year they have not only crossed the 6,000 unit sales milestone but are aiming to close with sales of more than 7,000 units. This will mark the highest-ever sales numbers recorded by the German manufacturer on our shores.

    The bulk of these sales comes from the three 310cc bikes in India, the G 310 R naked, the G 310 RR sportbike and the G 310 GS adventure bike. Speaking of the G 310 R and the GS, more than 10,000 have been sold in the country till date and the two bikes contribute around 90 percent of the sales in India. As of writing this article, the total sales figure of the G 310 RR sportbike is unknown, but in October, BMW announced that it has crossed the 1,000-unit deliveries milestone
