Vimal Sumbly, MD, Triumph Motorcycles, India, with the newly unveiled Tiger siblings.

Triumph has just unveiled its latest mid-size adventure and sport touring bikes, the Tiger XCx and the Tiger XRx models in India. Triumph plans to bring these motorcycles here sometime around March this year. However, prices for the new Tiger range have not been announced yet.

We have ridden the two improved motorcycles overseas, and are impressed with how the new motor and riding aids such as traction control and ABS brakes function. You also get four throttle maps (road, off-road, sport and rain) to choose from.

What differentiates the XRx from the XCx isthat the XCx is much more capable off the road, with an 21-inch spoked wheel upfront and 17-inch at rear. The XRx, on the other hand, is a road going touring machine, equipped with 17 inch alloy wheels front and back.

We will have more details as the launch date unfolds.
