Honda has updated three of its commuter offerings for 2018 – CB Shine SP, Livo and Dream Yuga. The update majorly consists of colour scheme changes, along with the addition of a minor visual tweak on the CB Shine SP, an updated instrument cluster on the Livo and new tyres on all three bikes.
The 2018 Honda CB Shine SP features a new tank shroud, sportier-looking graphics and new HET tyres. Honda claims that these new tyres lower rolling resistance by 15-20 percent while maintaining regular grip levels. The 2018 Shine SP is available in five colours – Pearl Siren Blue, Geny Grey Metallic, Black, Athletic Blue Metallic and Imperial Red Metallic. The bike is available in three variants – Drum brake (Rs 62,032), Disc brake (Rs 64,518) and CBS (Rs 66,508) (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
Honda’s Livo has also received a similar treatment. Like the Shine SP, it gets sportier-looking graphics. However, for the Livo, the Japanese bike maker has ditched the basic instrument cluster for digi-analogue. The Livo also features the new HET tyre and comes in five colour options – Black, Athletic Blue Metallic, Sunset Brown Metallic, Matte Axis Grey Metallic and Imperial Red Metallic. It is available in two variants – Drum brake (Rs 56,230) and Disc brake (Rs 58720) (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
This year, Honda’s Dream Yuga gets refreshed graphics and body coloured rear view mirrors. Aside from the new tyres, this bike also gets an additional colour scheme (Black with Sunset Brown Metallic) along with the existing five colour options – Black with Red, Black with Lemon Ice Yellow, Black with Radiant Red Metallic, Sports Red with Black and Black with Heavy Grey Metallic. The Dream Yuga is only available with drum brakes and is priced at Rs 52,741 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
