Ahead of the mandatory April 1, 2017 BS-IV deadline, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today launched an all-new CB Unicorn 160 which complies with these emission norms. The motorcycle, priced at Rs 73,552 (ex-showroom, Delhi), is one of the first in its category to meet BS-IV norms as well as the AHO (Automatic Headlamp On) feature. The CB Unicorn 160R was HMSI's first BS IV-compliant product.

The 2017 CB Unicorn 160 gets a new longer visor and a new ‘Matte Marvel Blue’ colour. The existing ‘Imperial Red Metallic’ and ‘Pearl Igneous Black’ colours get new graphics as standard fitment. The Honda Eco Technology-enabled Unicorn 160 is powered by a 162.71cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which develops 14hp at 8,000rpm and 13.9 Nm at 6,000rpm.
