Honda's Narsapura plant now open

Honda recently opened the doors at its Narsapura plant in Karnataka where production of its Dream Yuga started earlier in Phase 1. Honda has now rolled out the very first batch of Activa scooters from this plant. This third and latest plant of Honda’s has an annual capacity of 12 lakh units which will go upto 18 lakh units by the end of this fiscal. Also, Honda are working with the Delhi police to promote road safety on two-wheels. The big-H has adopted the Traffic Training Park in Delhi where it will give theory lessons and riding training to people above the age of 13, concentrating more on female riders.

Furthermore, Fortune India has bestowed the ‘Most Admired Company in the Indian Auto Industry’ accolade for 2013 on Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India. As per Fortune India’s listing, this Japanese giant has managed to secure a spot in the top 5 automotive industries in the country this year.
